Shannon c."My dog Rudy can be a challenge to say the least!! I started working with Meagan when he was only 8 weeks old and now, at 8 months he is an obedient, responsive, fun and playful boy. She literally saved my relationship with my dog! I am beyond grateful to her, as is Rudy. I have recommended Meagan to several friends and will continue to do so with 100% confidence!!"

Kara D."Meagan helped me with my dog, Annie, to help her with her leash manners over the course of five sessions. She pulled and was extremely reactive (fixating, lunging, whining, etc.) when she saw other dogs. This was a behavior she'd been doing without any meaningful consequence for two years. It was to the point that I didn't want to or enjoy walking her, and I doubt she enjoyed it, either. We implemented the prong collar and ecollar (Don't skimp out on it.) qand she responded wonderfully to both. The last session we took her downtown (something I would've never done before due to the amount of dogs walking) and she did great! For the most part, she's no longer lunging and whining, which makes simple tasks like daily walks so much easier and less stressful. This is a big issue for her, so she still needs more practice, but she's already made such good progress and I have no doubt she'll only continue to get better. Along the way, we also learned other helpful skills like holding sit, down, and stay outside with distractions. She also learned "place" which comes in handy while we eat and when people come into the house. Overall, I would recommend Meg to anyone who's struggling with their dog for any problem. She's understanding and helpful, but also tells you exactly what you need to hear to help your dog succeed. The sessions we had with her definitely improved both of our lives and relationship! It's the best investment you'll make. Seriously. Just do it."

"Au Pairs for Paws was amazing at training Lucy. I never though I would get her to the point that she is now ignoring people and able to be off leash in many situations. Megan did an amazing job with Lucy with her now being comfortable around people. I would definitely advise you to try Au Pair for Paws out you won’t regret it." - John S.

"We just completed our training with our Golden Retriever pup and I’m so glad we did! She is worth every penny. We really had no idea what we were doing and now I feel like a pro, and our golden has learned so much."- Savannah B.

"Meagan is amazing!! She is kind and awesome at what she does. I’ve seen such a difference with my 4 year old dachshund Milo in the past couple of weeks. I love how she trains YOU as well that way you can work with your dog from home and you have all the information to train 24/7. She tells you what you NEED to hear and its refreshing to not have it sugar coated, to make for the most well behaved dog. Milo is now able to walk past unknown dogs and humans without lunging and barking, and is able to go in his cage without having panic attacks and so much more. She is a lifesaver and I would definitely recommend her to anybody looking for dog training:) Thank you meagan" - Kylie O.

"Meagan is a life (our sanity) saver!!! She is absolutely fantastic to work with and did an amazing job with our dog Soto! For several months my wife and I tried everything to rid our dog of an aggressive/obsessive behavior towards a neighbor dog. We tried the “usual” YouTube quick fixes, the advice from neighbors and vets but nothing worked! In just two short months, Meagan turned Soto into a DIFFERENT dog 😁 Her techniques along with her advice on consistency and timing turned Soto’s behavior completely around. We can now enjoy our backyard with our dog again! Thank you Meagan for everything. My wife and I would highly recommend Au Pair for Paws for anyone struggling with nuisance or repeated poor behavior with your pup!"- Benjamin C.

"A positive and amazing transformation! I came to Meagan with my 7 1/2 year old Border Collie mix that I rescued when he was a pup. He’s always been strong willed, stubborn and just extremely unruly. All of which was my fault for allowing the behavior by making excuses and not getting the help I needed, the help WE needed. We avoided company, deliveries, and walks because of his bad manners. He would pull, lunge, bark, snarl and “gator roll” to get to what he wanted. It was so embarrassing and frustrating, but mostly worrisome. I called Meagan and explained my situation and how I needed her help. I needed her to train me! I was ready and we all needed it. After our first session I could immediately see the difference. He responded to her techniques and she broke them down for me so I wasn’t overwhelmed. I mean after all, we are teaching an old dog, new tricks; right? Fast forwarding, 7 sessions and we are at a brand new place. He doesn’t pull, or lunge. He walks nicely next to me and...off leash! Never, anywhere in my imagination did I think this would be possible. Anyone that knows us, cannot believe the difference. I cannot thank Meagan enough! Brinkley has a new found freedom and his quality of life (and mine) is so much better. We continue to work and continue to build our relationship. My only wish is that I’d have invested years ago!!" - Kim N.

"Meagan did an amazing job working with me to train my rescue that was displaying some stranger/ dog aggression and social anxiety. She did a wonderful job explaining certain things could’ve been going on with my dog. Before I met Meagan I had a dog that did not listen and lunged at every dog she saw. I now have a dog that responds very well to commands and will walk past a dog without batting an eye. Absolutely amazing!"- Grace O.
